Hello ‘Weavers’,welcome to the 15th week of W3 prompt hosted by David (see link below), Sylvia has chosen a lovely poem by Britta Benson – ‘Longing for water’ as this weeks prompt poem. Britta’s guidelines are to write a poem which includes the name of a city, town or village.
My poem is entitled ‘I Left My Heart’, (it might remind you of a popular song I hope the lyricist doesn’t take offence!). For information Aberystwyth is a university town in Cardiganshire, which I attended many years ago, with pubs galore, lovely beach, remains of a castle and a cliff railway (as opposed to a cable car poetic licence!) Why not have a go at creating a poem yourself 🙂

Wistful. Lovely. 🙂

Ange, your poem is practically like a painting of the place, only better, I think! It’s so alive!
