Hi
the inspiration for this poem is once again from murisopsis’s ‘My Name scavenger hunt’ where she’s selected a number of poetry forms which have names, have a look: https://murisopsis.wordpress.com/2022/08/31/looking-at-names/
Alongside this I have included the prompts from Fandango whose word is ‘Chop’ and Ragtag’s – ‘ Patterns’. The form I have chosen the Donna is created by Viola Berg, the poem should be witty and fun similar to the Limerick. The stanzas are written in any number of quintains with syllabic, lines of 8/6/4/4/6 and the rhyme xabba, xcddc etc.
Hope you like it 🙂

this is such innocent and charming poem, a fairytale! thanks for sharing 🙂
