Hi, the inspiration for this poem is once again from murisopsis’s ‘My Name scavenger hunt’ where she’s selected a number of poetry forms which have names, please see below: https://murisopsis.wordpress.com/2022/08/31/looking-at-names/
Murisopsis has suggested using song titles from Cuban singer Ovi, however I have taken the liberty of featuring one of my favourite poets John Donne. The Bibliographic Profile Acrostic poem is a form invented by Andre ben-YEHU. It may be rhymed or blank verse any verse’s length; with “Poetic License” allowed in the meter. The composition must paint a picture on the Tributee and use title(s) of their literary works within the stanzas.
My poem is entitled ‘Fall Away’, the poems of John Donne are in bold italics, if you have time they are well worth reading, thanks for looking.

John Donne
John Donne (1572-1631) is one of the most important poets of the late Elizabethan and Jacobean periods in English literature. In many ways, what is now known as metaphysical poetry began with Donne and his innovative use of imagery, particularly his fondness for extended metaphors and elaborate conceits which draw on what were, at the time, new scientific theories and discoveries.
Some of his poems can be found here:
