Good old terra firma! Of course, there are earthquakes and tornados—but not an out-of-control ocean!

Much better to be on the ground than battling a typhoon in the air. Disappointing to miss the trip, though.

Oh yes. In aviation vernacular, those winds were ‘out of limits’ for takeoff and landing long ago. However, I’d personally prefer to be flying around or over such a storm to finding shelter on the ground. 🙂
