Hi, this week in his blog https://naturalistweekly.com/2022/11/25/micro-season-the-rainbow-hides-unseen-2022/ Mark informs us we have entered the micro-season of “The Rainbow Hides Unseen”. This is the first micro-season of the mini-season Minor Snow. Mark invites us to write a haiku or senryu that references rainbows of any season.
This one is my penultimate haiku for my NaNoBloMo, thanks for looking 🙂

I like the ‘natural power’ start of your rainbow haiku. Bold statement. Never really thought of a rainbow as natural power, so thanks for putting a nice image in my head! I like the micro seasons, too. Most of the time, they’re quite challenging when applied to the UK climate. I can’t really say that there are less rainbows about at this point of time. I’m in Scotland. Home of rain. Habitat of rainbows.

Great haiku! I like the image of the rainbow lifting up the sky. It almost looks like that sometimes. And congratulations on completing NaNoBloMo.
