Hello ‘Weavers’, this is prompt number 31 hosted by David on his great blog https://skepticskaddish.com/2022/11/30/w3-prompt-31-weave-written-weekly/, this week Sylvia Cognac is POW after her a fabulous chain verse haiku. The challenge posed by Sylvia is to write a shadorma poem the subject matter being food related (The shadorma consists of any number of six-line stanzas each stanza has the syllable (3/5/3/3/7/5) for a total of 26 syllables). Thanks for looking 🙂

you’re TOO funny, Ange 😆

I especially liked the pun in the last line. I’ve never heard of laverbread, but I want to try eating seaweed at some point.

its a traditional Welsh dish – not bread at all!

The intense green is very appealing. I like seaweed because (of course!) it’s salty. (K)

Never heard of laverbread before, I learned something new 🙂 This is a cute poem, and I love how you incorporated mermaids. My favorite lines are “a mermaid’s banquet” and “ocean’s fruit.” Great job 🙂
