Hi, itβs Friday 13th so maybe time for a scary story for Rochelle’s Friday Fictioneers https://rochellewisoff.com/2023/01/11/13-january-2023/ , this weeks prompt image above is provided by Fleur Lind which inspired my story ‘Homeward-bound‘ in 100 words, thanks for reading π

Superstition or premonition from Frank? Awesome story, perfect for the prompt and the day! π

Ominous story. I’ve read that the Friday the 13th superstition is the most common in the USA. π Well done.

Thanks Bill – we are also a little suspicious of the date here in the UK π

Don’t push the limits too far; they are designed to break.

oh! another sad take on the prompt. I was kind of hoping that she was dreaming and would wake up understanding Friday the 13th.
A cosmetic suggestion, maybe you could format it so that your story stands out? The words look blurry

Hi it looks OK to me not blurry?

I never used to believe in the bad luck of Friday the 13th until it was proven to me. Sorry this lady never got to use the lesson she learned.

Unfourtunately his fussing contributed to her undoing.
One could say he projected … the outcome

My goodness, texting has replaced those annoying back seat passengers; (Are we there yet?).
A sad story of succumbing to the supernatural world of superstition.

I’m pleased to say I made it through even though, sadly, she didn’t. I think the calendar should go straight from the 12th to the 14th when there’s a Friday lurking!

Sad tale. But since she would be found on the 14th, letβs hope she survived the crash. Fingers crossed.

That’s why one should never text and drive. Thanks, Frank.
I didn’t even notice yesterday was Friday the 13th. That’s how superstitious I am.

A self-fulfilling superstition. Poor Jackie. If Frank hadn’t pressured her, she’d have taken her time, not driven overly-tired and most likely not ended up in the accident.

Great Friday the 13th-themed story, AJ. Nicely conceived and executed.
