Tanka Tuesday Prompt

For this week’s Tanka Tuesday, Colleen Chesebro encourages us to try writing senryū poetry, a Japanese form similar to haiku: three lines with a short-long-short syllable count up to 17 syllables. It’s a poem with the ‘human’ at its centre as opposed to nature.

Thanks for looking ❤

I was born and live in rural North Wales (UK) and found poetry again after a lifetime, so grateful I did :)

  1. Reminds me of some of the articles I glaced at about those who had more than enough and let it all slip away…

And then there is the good stories about paying it forward. A gent paying for the breakfast of a Mother and her son… just because he wanted to be nice.
