Hi, this week Mark in his Micro-Season’s blog discusses the last in the Minor Cold season which is “The Pheasant First Calls”, https://naturalistweekly.com/2023/01/20/micro-season-the-pheasant-first-calls/
Mark invites us to write a haiku or senryū that references a bird that is currently residing in our own area. I went with the pheasant as we have them all around here, you have to be careful driving, they are not the brightest of birds – except for the male’s plumage that is 🙂

Nice. A handsome bird indeed

Wonderful! I like how you were able to pull in the voice of the pheasant. Thank you so much for sharing your work this week!

Well done! 🙂
I added this one and your Winnie the Pooh post to the Sunday Round up, thinking I had missed them. I have a total of 6 posts for you for the week. If I missed something just let me know and I’ll add it. Thank you!
