Hi, for this weeks prompt, ‘Ravishing Red’ – Lady Jabberwocky invites us to write a poem or a story that includes the colour ‘Red’ . https://ladyjabberwocky.com/2023/03/13/prompt-of-the-week-ravishing-red/
I immediately thought of Marylin Munroe, who sadly left this world far too quickly. Below my short poem you can find one of hers, thanks for looking 💋

Although in most of Marylyn’s roles she played a ‘dumb’ blond, she was far from that as can be seen in her private poetry, text found in notebooks and on loose paper, that are published in Fragments: Poems, Intimate Notes, Letters. They reveal a complex, sensitive person who looked deeply into her own psyche and who thought about the world and others. We see the disconnect between a highly visible public persona and a highly vulnerable private person, misunderstood by the world, longing to be truly seen.

Fabulous take, Angela.💕
