Hi, its good news, Paul on his ‘Playground Poetry’ site has announced that The International Imaginarium For Word & Verse is back after a five-month break, so too the Poetorium group poem, https://playground.poetry.blog/2023/03/14/an-invitation-to-participate-in-the-first-international-imaginarium-for-word-verse-of-2023/
To join in, we are invited to consider Wallace Steven’s poem “Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird” (see link below) as the poem’s template, but substituting the phrase “manhole cover” or “manhole covers” for “blackbird”. Then send one to eight lines to Paul for inclusion in the group poem, should prove very interesting.
Looking at pictures, I found that Japanese manhole covers, put our ones here in the UK to shame, some are really beautiful 😊

An interesting poetry challenge… The manhole covers are very artistic – I fear that if we had any like that they’d be stolen!!
