Albert Camus was born on 7 November 1913 (1913 – 1960) in French Algeria, he was a philosopher, author, and journalist, and was best known for his absurdist works, including ‘The Stranger’ and ‘The Plague.’ He won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1957. Camus was in Paris in 1940 when the Germans invaded France
