Micro-Seasons πŸͺ±

Take a look at Mark’s blog https://naturalistweekly.com/2023/05/12/micro-season-the-earthworms-rise-2023/, it’s very interesting, he says we have entered the micro-season of: β€œThe Earthworms Rise,” it’s the first micro-season of the mini-season of First Summer.

Mark also invites us to write a haiku or senryu that refers to any type of invertebrate.

I was born and live in rural North Wales (UK) and found poetry again after a lifetime, so grateful I did :)

  1. The lowly worm is a humble servant. πŸ™‚ As a child I remember anticipating all the worms after it rained. When we were smaller and closer to the ground, we noticed so much more. When we reclaim that joy, we see it all again.
