Hi, this is Carrie’s penultimate Sunday Muse, sadly only one more after today. I have chosen an image above from Chrissa for my poem, https://thesundaymuse.blogspot.com/2023/05/sunday-muse-260.html
It’s called ‘Rose-burst’, thanks for stopping by 🌹

I was born and live in rural North Wales (UK) and found poetry again after a lifetime, so grateful I did :) View more posts

Very lovely. I often think of that – so much beauty, so much pain.

The beauty of a rose with its thorn. I wrote to this prompt originally. I will need to re-read it.

We have gobs of roses in our back yard. Yes, they do shed those petals but I’ve never seen on in action. Always the pretty petals in the grass or the walk. Like you said, great!!

My apologies for being so late Angela. I love the message of life and the beauty and the pain it holds. A lovely response to the image my friend!

Hey Angela, I just wanted to let you know that your second link did not go anywhere. I took it out of the linky. You may want to re-link that one.

Roses look so innocent, but can so easily cause pain. Nice one, Angela.
