dVerse Prosery

Hi, our challenge this week by Merril, is to write a piece of flash fiction or other prose of up to or exactly 144 words, including this given line:

“An early moon is just a piece of change in the softening sky. “

From the beautiful poem, “Spring Poem for the Sake of Breathing, Written After a Walk to Foster Island” by James Masao Mitsui (https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/141929/spring-poem-for-the-sake-of-breathing-written-after-a-walk-to-foster-island-)

Thanks for sopping by 😊

I was born and live in rural North Wales (UK) and found poetry again after a lifetime, so grateful I did :)

  1. This was nice, Ange. Yes, it is nice to watch the night develop. Thanks for peeking in on me, I wanted it to be a little puzzle without an answer of what is happening to our hero.
