A well described moment of country pleasure. When the background noise is subdued, it is refreshing to hear the sounds of life along the hedges and among the wild flowers.

But of course there had to be a barking waggy dog. The scene wouldn’t have been complete without it

The family dog is excited at the arrival! That my Mochi! When either of my sons arrives she sounds the alarm. I’ve discovered that she is so excited because she thinks they will be giving her treats (they did it once so the possibility exists)!!!

β₯οΈthis was out Joss always barked and a funny thing was my hubby would say he always knew when I was coming home as heβd standby the front door wagging his tail 10 minutes before I arrived- uncanny π

I bet the tone of Joss’ bark tells Mother exactly who it is also. Great story, Ange.

Dear Angela,
What a sweet scene. Mum’s going to be delighted even if the dog did tip her off.
